Ohaus Scout Balance SPX123 and STX123

The Ohaus Scout Balances are portable, convenient, and accurate tools for your lab. This handy lab balance features a compact, integrated draft shield to protect against air currents and harsh environments. It is easy to clean with a removable stainless-steel pan and a sealed and molded front panel. Each balance has a capacity of 120g and a readability of 0.001g.

The SPX123 precision balance has flexible graming, which allows you to use parts counting for weighing, Parts Counting, Percent Weighing, check weighing, Totalization, and Display Hold. The high-contrast LDC screen quickly displays weight, application data, stability indicators, over/under load conditions, and low battery power. Weights are displayed in g, kg, ct, N, oz, oz, dwt, lb, lb:oz, and grin.

The Scout STX123 can also do dynamic/animal weighing, density determination, and mole weighing.  The full-color icon-driven touch screen guides users through setup. Weights are displayed as mg, g, kg, ct, N, oz, ozt, dwt, lb, lb:oz, grn, hkt, sgt, twt, tical, tola, and 1 user-defined unit.

Using either 4 AA batteries or the AC wall pack, these portable balances can be transported and placed wherever you need them most. Once configured, simply turn on the lock switch to prevent reconfiguration mid-use. The integrated weigh below hook allows you to determine density and calculate the specific gravity of samples.
