Thermo Fisher Ultra-Low Freezer 8600 Series

The Thermo Scientific Forma 8600 Series -86°C Freezer is designed to keep biotech, pharmaceutical, and blood bank samples safe.  This state-of-the-art -80 Freezer improves the control of constant temperature cycling, reserving the BTUH capacity.  This results in a more stable and uniform temperature throughout the chamber of the Thermo Fisher Ultra Low Temperature Freezer.  The five interior compartment doors include a polystyrene sub-line, which decreases air loss and improves temperature recovery after closing the door.

The Thermo Fisher Ultra-Low Freezer 8607 includes an ergonomically designed cam-actuated door handle, allowing for proper door compression making a firm seal when the door closes.  The foamed-in-place insulation minimizes power consumption used on the Thermo Forma -80 Freezer. This allows the lab freezer cabinet to reach the temperature set point much quicker.  In addition, the Thermo Scientific 8600 -80 Freezer door has a triple-point door gasket which delivers longer holding times in the event of a power failure.

The Thermo -80 Freezer 8600 includes microprocessor controls allowing the user to set temperature along with alarms, should the unit fall out of the temperature set-points.  Alarm controls notify the end-user when the -80 freezer door is open, low battery, probe failure, along with high and low stages failure. The Thermo Scientific Forma 8600 Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer includes a brand new battery back and filter, installed by our service department.

This -80 Freezer has a temperature set-point range of -50° to -86°C.  The Thermo Forma 8600 -80 Freezer comes with a polished stainless steel interior and shelves to support a full load of samples.  This allows for easy cleaning of the freezer chamber when needed.
