Thermo Fluoroskan Ascent Fluorescence Microplate Reader
The Thermo Scientific Fluoroskan Ascent is a compact and flexible fluorometer for fluorometric detection. This plate reader offers you a full range of fluorometric readings for plates 1 to 384 wells in size. This microplate fluorometer’s high sensitivity and fiberless direct illumination produce a sharply focused light beam for both top and bottom reading, and low cross talk gives this fluorometer precise results.
Measurements and functions are controlled from a PC with Ascent software and easily integrated into automated systems. The user-friendly programming of the Ascent software allows users to get fast measurements in fluorometric GFP. This microplate fluorometer also features short reading speeds ideal for cytotoxicity, ion channel, and FRET applications, reading a 96-well plate in about 15 seconds. Users can also add up to 3 dispensers for adding reagents, which come with shaking and incubating capabilities.
