The Thermo Forma Ultra Low Freezer 88300 is a high-performance -86°C Freezer with a slim profile, taking up just a 7.05 sq ft. footprint.  The 14.9 cu ft chamber holds up to 300 boxes, and maintains temperatures with 4 heated gasketed doors, that eliminate frost build-up and earth magnet closures that eliminate latches. This ult freezer has a sturdy construction, with reinforced, stainless steel shelves that hold up to 278lbs each, and line voltage protection that bucks or boosts incoming voltage depending on needs and protects components and temperatures.

The Thermo Scientific Forma 88000 features digital control, with a full color LCD touch screen that guides user through the easy to navigate interface.  This command center continuously monitors the overall health of the unit, with detailed event logs and alarms in the event of deviation. The on board computer stores up to 15 years worth of data that can be viewed on-screen or downloaded to a portable drive. This touchscreen also allows users of this ultralow temp freezer to protect their settings with password security to prevent accidental tampering. This lab freezer also has remote alarm contacts and two 1 in rear access ports for external probes and instrumentation.
