Thermo Incubator Shaker IEMS

The Thermo Incubator Shaker IEMS combines orbital shaking and incubation into one space saving useful package. Microplates within the SBS standards go into one of the 3 slots and shake up to speeds of 1400 rpm and heat up to 69 °C.  Each of these slots are used to process individual microplates within limitations. The microplate holders are heated by electrical connectors in the microplate carrier. The inner upper heater prevents condensation inside the slot. Temperature uniformity is excellent at the setpoint at 0.6°C across the microplate.

The Thermo incubator shaker heats the microplates gradually across the whole surface thus ensuring assay reproduction. The incubator shaker is programmed and controlled by a centered keyboard. The protocols can be entered individually or the same for each slot. In this one module incubation shaker, all slots have the same incubation temperature and shake at the same RPM.   Each slot position shake at the same time from speeds of 400rpm to 1400 in increasing increments of 250rpm. An illuminated LED above the respected slot informs a user of the status in the slot by different colored LED lights. Once the incubator shaker finishes a run is signals the user with an audible tone.
