The Thermo Precision BOD Incubator brings you high-capacity storage at low temperatures for Biological Oxygen Demand determinations with lighting for plant growth. The ample interior of this 17.8-cu-ft upright Low-Temperature Incubator has 7-day cycles with two light cycles per day and temperature control. This BOD Incubator features a connection for an external chart recorder, an RS-232 interface for data logging, a temperature probe port, and a protected setpoint mode to prevent accidental temperature change. The Door illumination for the plant growth chamber has a cool white supreme color and temperature of 4100K, with 2600 lms.

The broad temperature range, from -10 to 50°C, with forced air circulation, can be programmed from the top control panel. This microprocessor-controlled incubator is easy to program using the top push-button panel and a digital display that shows the actual temperature to within 0.1°C. From here, users can also set their alarm parameters, calibration, and mute an alarm. The exterior of this BOD incubator is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, featuring a powder-coated finish and a smooth plastic interior. It is sandwiched over CFC-free, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, which prevents heat loss.
