Thermo Scientific HeraCell 150i Double Stack
The Thermo Scientific HeraCell 150i is a CO2 Incubator with tight control, a non-corrosive stainless steel interior, and a built-in decontamination routine for easy maintenance. The large surface area of the water reservoir that’s directly heated allows the chamber to recover after an opening 5 times faster than ordinary humidified incubators. To ensure humidity levels are maintained, there are audible and visual alerts when water levels drop.
The humidity also contributes to the 90°C moist decontamination called Contraction, which covers the entire chamber without the need to remove shelving, sensors, or fittings. The HeraCell 150i has a 5.3 cu ft interior is easy to clean, electropolished stainless steel or antimicrobial copper (see model), and a TC infrared Sensor for accurate gas monitoring.
The iCAN touch screen control is door-mounted for ease of access and features simple navigation and on-screen user prompts in various languages. The alert system signals users to change in parameters with both visual and audible alarms that cover temperature, power failure, and CO2 levels of the Thermo Incubator. Data logging from this Heracell 150i incubator can be viewed on-screen or exported via RS 232 port.
