Thermo SeqStudio Genetic Analyzer

The Thermo SeqStudio Genetic Analyzer uses capillary electrophoresis to deliver fragment analysis and Saner sequencing on the same plate in a compact benchtop system. This analyzer is simple to set up. Using an all-in-one cartridge, users add their samples, insert them, and click go. The seqstudio then processes the sample, completing the run in as little as 30 minutes. These cartridges include the capillary array, anode buffer, and a polymer reservoir. Each cartridge also features buffers that remain stable for 4-6 months (reaction size dependent). The cartridge system minimizes wasted resources, allows for granular delegation to individual researchers, and can be recycled.

The Applied Biosystems Seqstudio Genetic Analyzer is optimized for end-to-end workflows and guides users with a touchscreen interface to simplify plate, sample, and run setups. Users can also select their format for the results collected, such as a list view, electropherograms, sequencing plots, and more. This genetic analyzer is also cloud-based, allowing users to run the instrument from anywhere. The SeqStudio is ideal for many applications such as de novo, targeted, and plasmid Sanger sequencing, CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing confirmation, cell line authentication, and detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs).
