Thermo Sorvall Centrifuge
The Thermo Sorvall Legend Mach 1.6 is a high-capacity, whisper-quiet, refrigerated benchtop centrifuge, designed to accommodate a wide variety of applications. Mach 1.6 is well suited to many laboratory environments from general to microbiology and pharmaceutical, thanks to a versatile 5 interchangeable biocontainment rotors. This high-volume processing centrifuge has a 1.6-liter capacity and performs fast separations with speeds up to 15000 rpm and a high rcf of 24652 x g.
The Thermo Sorvall Legend Mach 1.6 Centrifuge is microprocessor controlled, with a digital display guiding users through setpoint selection or allowing them to program up to 4 protocols of their own. Automatic rotor recognition technology sets the maximum speed rating for the rotor, and a soft-touch lid lock ensures safe operations. This Thermo centrifuge utilizes SMARTspin Imbalance detection for the most optimized run stability and to make sure samples and the drive aren’t damaged.
