The Thermo Sorvall WX 100+ is a robust ultracentrifuge built to last long, run fast, and cover all a growing lab’s needs.  The Sorvall WX 100+ is the next generation of ultra-speed centrifuges in a small footprint built to stand the test of time.   The WX Ultra 100 reaches speeds of 100,000 RPM with a low deck height for the easy loading and unloading of rotors. Rotors for the WX 100+ Ultracentrifuge are self-locking with auto balance and rotor detection, giving users added assurance that it’s in place and secure.  This ultracentrifuge doesn’t require being bolted down, so it can be placed where it’s convenient, and with a whisper-quiet motor, it won’t be a distraction.

The Thermo Sorvall WX 100+ Ultracentrifuge features a user-friendly full-color LCD touchscreen with a graphical display based on Windows OS, allowing users to modify runs to fit their needs. This Ultracentrifuge also features a multicolor LED bar for across-the-room monitoring during a run. The intuitive Windows-based software of this floor model centrifuge can easily calculate k factors, molecular masses, crystallization times, pelleting times, and derating speeds. With a network connection, end users can program runs from the comfort of their office. This microprocessor-controlled centrifuge holds up to 1000 programs with step runs in memory, ten acceleration and 11 deceleration profiles, and coasting to a stop.  This ultracentrifuge is constructed from high-quality steel to ensure fatigue resistance.
