The Thermo Sorvall WX Ultra 80+ ultracentrifuge provides labs with high speeds, a compact footprint, and low deck height for comfortable loading. The system also features nonbolt-down installation, allowing for flexible placement in your lab. The WX Ultra 80 is built from high-quality steel and reaches speeds of 80,000 RPM with a max RCF of 546883 x g with a T-890 rotor. This system also cools, with a control range between 0-40°C.

The built-in touchscreen control panel of the Sorvall WX Ultra series is designed off a Windows OS platform and allows the end user to quickly create and modify runs with a few touches of the screed. This digital control panel stores up to 1000 programs with step runs, allowing users to choose from 10 acceleration and deceleration profiles with coasting.  The WX80+ also features auto balance and rotor detection and works with most ultracentrifuge rotors on the market.
