Thermo TSX is a high-performance freezer with AABB and FDA-compliant freezing storage. This -30°C freezer has a volume of 29.2 cu ft, has easily adjustable shelving, and a door that holds open at 90° with full clearance. To monitor performance, all users need to do is look at the up top command center, with at a glance icon representation of overall freezer health. From this command center users can also select their desired setpoint, between -35° to -15°C, as well as security options, alarm parameters, and turning the interior illumination on and off.

The TSX Series of freezers and refrigerators are high performance and have such features as the V drive that detects and adapts cooling to usage patterns. The adaptation translates into a 50% reduction in energy use compared to more conventional lab freezers. This energy efficiency, combined with natural refrigerants and water-blown insulation makes this plasma freezer SNAP compliant. The lower energy consumption also means less heat kicked into the lab environment and lowers HVAC costs.
