The Thermo TSX500 Ultra Low Freezer uses the unique V-drive adaptive system to provide the best uniformity and efficiency in a compact, sleek instrument. This 24.1 cu. ft / 682L  The Thermo TSX ULT freezer is designed to accommodate up to 500 2-inch boxes and features a vial capacity of up to 50,000 2ml vials.

The Thermo Scientific TSX500 features a sophisticated onboard data center, allowing users to access real-time monitoring of sample temperatures, system statuses, and data, all of which can be viewed through the user-friendly touchscreen. This command center guides users through a step-by-step setup, helps them access event logs, and enables them to download data through the built-in USB port. The onboard computer will also store up to 15 years of data.

The VIP insulation of this Thermo Scientific TSX series, combined with water-blown polyurethane foam and 2-stage natural refrigerants, provides a slow warm-up time and a peak variation of less than 5 °C throughout the cabinet. The V Drive adaptive control system is at the core of the energy efficiency of this ultra-low temperature freezer, detecting usage patterns and door openings versus periods of stability, and adjusting the compressor accordingly to meet the needs, thereby saving energy.

This Thermo TSX500 Ultra-Low Freezer is quiet running, so you can keep it nearby without disturbance. It features various ergonomic enhancements, including an easy-to-open handle and shelf-level placement for more comfortable loading and unloading. This Thermo Scientific TSX Series Freezer is also Smart Vue compatible, offering cloud-based remote access and control at a higher level.
