The Thermo Chromatography Refrigerator TSX5005CA provides high capacity, energy-efficient cold storage for chromatography applications. This ecofriendly system uses R290 refrigerant, has an automatic defrost setting, and operates at a whisper-quiet 52 dBA. This unique system also emits less heat into the environment, so it helps to lower HVAC costs, thanks to the innovative V drive. This drive detects usage patterns to kick on higher compressor speed within the laboratory refrigerator to meet demand but cycles low during steady times for energy savings of up to 40% versus similar-sized models.

Inside the brightly lit 51 cu. ft. / 1447L interior are two 2 in sidewall access ports with hinged covers. The duplex outlet also features a safety switch to protect components. This TSX refrigerator is built for full access to chromatography instruments with two swing-out double-paned glass doors, each with a 90° stop assists to help with loading. The glass doors also allow users to visually check inventory and sample progress before having to disturb the environment. Desired temperatures can be controlled from the digital command center, and set between 3° to 7°C. From this control panel, users can also choose their alarm parameters and at a glance, check on the overall health, thanks to the thermometer icon representation.
