Labconco PCR Workstation / Vented Balance Enclosure

The Labconco PCR workstation protects the user from particulates, powders, and fumes. XPert Balance Enclosures require venting. They may be connected to a remote blower and exhausted to the outside. This 3-foot pcr cabinet can accept a variety of Filter Mate models which have versatile options including HEPA and/or carbon filters. Filter Mates rid the work area of hazardous particulates and/or fumes and vapors depending on which filter you have installed. They do not require outside ducting.  This PCR station low-profile external blower setup users will experience lower energy costs and other costs not often thought of such as setup, moving and laboratory square footage.

The interior of the Labconco PCR Workstation vented balance enclosure is large enough to accommodate large micro and analytical balances.  The ergonomic air foil with aerodynamic clean-sweep airflow openings is just one of the many features of this PCR station. Other key features include side-entry air foils, upper containment sash foil and upper dilution air supply. 1/4″ thick tempered safety glass for the sides, top and front sash. Two (1.5″) utility ports positioned along the back of the PCR hood allow for pass-through of electrical cords. Labconco’s Glacier white and gray, powder-coated aluminum frame and steel rear plenum make up the construction of the PCR cabinet.

The guardian 500 airflow monitor continuously monitors airflow conditions inside of the workstation. Its simple interface displays a green led light when conditions are safe, or a red led light with audible alarms when conditions are unsafe.
