VWR Magnetic Stirrer Hot Plate
The VWR Magnetic Stirrer Hot Plate is a sturdy little workhorse that saves bench space and is ideal for educational environments. This compact lab hotplate uses a durable and conductive cast aluminum top to heat and stir up to 1000 mL of water. This economical hotplate is an ideal choice for an educational environment. The Bi-metallic thermostat of this lab hotplate helps maintain the set temperature while the powerful heater helps it reach temperature in minutes.
This stirring hotplate uses two dial controls, one for heating and one for stirring for independent adjustments. The speed can be adjusted between 100-1200rpm, and the heat can be set between 0-400°C. On the backside of the VWR hotplate is a built-in support to accommodate a clamp or a temperature probe for external monitoring.
