The VWR orbital incubator shaker 5000i is a high-performance, variable-speed shaking incubator with digital control across three parameters. This VWR benchtop incubator shaker has a variety of safety features to protect users, the motor, and samples, such as overload protection, unbalanced load detection, alarms for tray obstruction. The polycarbonate lid lets users monitor samples easily and has an automatic cutoff circuit to shut down operation when opened. This VWR incubator shaker has a slow start feature that ramps up speed to the set point to prevent sloshing and sample loss. In the event, there is a spill the design channels liquids away from the internal components, and the removable tray makes for easy cleanup.

The VWR orbital shaker 5000i has a speed range between 15-500 rpm on a 1 in orbit. Users of this shaking incubator can program their desired temperature, shaking speed, and time up to 160hrs from the low profile upfront digital control panel. At the rear of this orbital shaker has an RS-232 interface for data logging and unit control. The brushless DC motor and permanently lubricated bearings allow for continuous operation, while the Accu-drive system maintains control and accuracy for consistent speeds.
