VWR VDI 12 Homogenizer

The VWR VDI 12 Homogenizer provides a reliable stirring and variable speed for simple tasks and volumes up to 100 milliliters. This overhead stirrer has a speed range between 8000 – 30000 rpm and will stir liquids up to 5000 mPas in viscosity. The tissue homogenizer has a max output of 125W, which gives it a high shear effect that reduces processing time compared to conventional mixers.

This handheld homogenizer is also ergonomic and lightweight, so it’s easy to handle, making it ideal for RNA protein assays, DNA and RNA blot analysis, PCR work, wastewater extractions, tissue decomposition, and suspensions. The VWR VDI 12 features overload protection should the motor become stressed, and the quick-release coupling means dispersing elements can be changed quickly and easily.
