Wave Cell Bioreactor System

The Wave 20/50EH Bioreactor System offers you a complete system for your benchtop bioreaction needs. This bioreactor is modular and can be expanded up or paired down depending on needs. On the 50L rocking platform, cell bags are agitated at 2 to 40 rocks per minute, and at an angle of between 2-12°, air mixing, and heated to specified temperatures.  These parameters are controlled and monitored through the onboard digital control panel, or through various attachments, sold separately, for modular flexible use.

A Wave EH has toggle switches to control either the left, or the left and right side heating.

The Wave EHT features a touchscreen controller that’s backlit and easy to read.

The Wave EHTD is a dual system, that can be used for both single and dual operation, controlling heat and air independently for two cell bags at once.

This Wave 20/50EHT Bioreactor System is an ideal choice for cell culturing, vaccination production, protein manufacturing, CHO cells and so much more. The GE Wave works in conjunction with various attachments depending on the complexity of the control scheme that is needed. Included with this wave bioreactor is a lid, that helps protect the cell bag while in use and maintain temperatures, whiles also protecting from light exposure.

Other components could include the Converter 100 controller unit, designed to provide an interface hub between the bioreactor and the UNICORN DAQ software. The Converter 100 features a standardized serial fieldbus that’s optimized for process automation.

A WavePod II  controller features all available modules and helps you meet individual cell culture requirements for mammalian cells, insect cells, cell therapy, or profusion.  This Wavepod II CO2 O2 PHOPT DOOPT II integrates dissolved oxygen measurement, pH measurement, and CO2/O2 gas mixing into one device for complex control schemes.

The GE Wave Biotech CO2Mix20-R provides your bioreactor cell bags with variable carbon dioxide concentrations. This air controller is designed to work in tandem with the Biotech Bioreactors, inflating, ventilating, and maintaining pressure for aeration and pH control of mammalian cell cultures. The regulator of this mixer adjusts the gas pressure, measures the CO2 concentration, and maintains the user’s set point, up to 15%. Connection to the Wave Bioreactors is set up through a MODBUS data port.
