The Thermo Scientific Isotemp Basic Ultra Low Temperature Freezer offers you reliable cooling and temperature recovery between openings. This microprocessor controlled Ultra Low Temperature Freezer has a key operated power and alarm switch, and a temperature range of -50°C to -86°C, adjustable in 1° increments. Performance is continuously monitored, with alarms in the event of power failure, or temperature deviation. There is also a backup battery to the control panel to retain settings and initiate restart once power is restored.
The Thermo Scientific Isotemp Basic Ultra Low Temperature Freezer cabinet is built out of sturdy steel with a corrosion free powder coating, 5 inches of foamed in place insulation, and stainless steel shelves. The exterior door has a 5 sealing point gasket, and the 5 interior doors are made of high impact ABS plastic with space-saving inset handles. Below, to maintain efficiency of cooling, the condenser filter maybe removed and washed. The Thermo Scientific Isotemp Basic Ultra Low Temperature Freezer comes with a complete set of sample racks.
