VWR 40086A Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer

The VWR ULT Freezer 40086A offers labs a simple to operate, digitally controlled Ultra Low Upright freezer for critical samples. This ultra-low temperature freezer has a temperature range between -50 to -86°C that can be set through the eye-level command center on the front door. From here users can also select their alarm parameters, monitor status, calibrate, and configure their access codes. This ultra-low temp freezer is also built to be easy to use with an ergonomic handle for one-handed operation, and a vacuum relief port for quick openings. The construction of this VWRUltra-Low Freezer is built to last with heavy gauge cold rolled steel cabinet construction, painted galvannealed steel interior surfaces, and four inner doors that help reduce the loss of cold and recover after an opening.

The VWR ULT Freezer is 23 cu. ft. in capacity and holds up to 400 boxes set in an upright format with the compressors at the base for easy loading and unloading. This negative 80 freezer is built inside and out to protect samples, from the 5-in foamed-in-place insulation, to the gaskets meant to minimize frost build-up, and the dual hermetically sealed 1 hp compressors. These compressors cycle on and off in unison, on-demand, while an automatic voltage conditioner adjusts incoming voltage to reduce wear and tear.
